DEADMAINS
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1/16/2025
This Privacy Policy explains how deadmains.gg (“we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information when you use the site. We value your privacy and collect as little data as possible to operate the service.
1. Information We Collect
- Feedback Form: If you submit feedback, the text you enter and any optional email address are stored securely in our database (Supabase) for the purpose of improving the site.
- Steam / Deadlock Data: We display public player data from the official Steam and Deadlock APIs. This information (e.g., usernames, avatars, ranks) is already publicly available and not modified or shared by us.
- Server Logs: Our hosting providers (Vercel, Upstash, Supabase) automatically log standard technical information such as IP addresses and timestamps for security and performance reasons. We do not use this data to identify users.
2. How We Use Information
Submitted feedback is used solely to improve deadmains.gg. We do not sell, share, or use any collected information for advertising, analytics, or marketing.
3. Data Storage
Feedback is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL). Cached game and profile data is stored temporarily in Upstash. All third-party services we use are reputable and maintain their own security and privacy compliance.
4. Your Rights
If you are in the EU or another region with data protection laws, you have the right to request that we delete any feedback submissions containing your personal information. To make a request, contact us via the feedback form or email and mention “Privacy Request.”
5. Changes
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect new features or service changes. The “Last updated” date above will always indicate the latest revision.
